Returns & Refunds
1. Scope
This policy covers tuition-style fees for Surgenet Institute cohort programs listed with KRW pricing. Add-on materials may have separate rules communicated at purchase.
2. Cooling-off (14 days)
Where Korean consumer regulations grant a withdrawal period for distance contracts, you may cancel within 14 days of the written enrollment confirmation unless you have explicitly requested early access to digital materials that exhaust the right of withdrawal.
3. Partial attendance
If you attend more than the opening session without prior written agreement, partial refunds may be reduced in line with services consumed and administrative costs, calculated transparently.
4. Non-refundable items
Third-party venue deposits, shipped hardware, or customized mentor reviews requested outside standard syllabus may be non-refundable as stated in your enrollment addendum.
5. How to request a refund
Email hello@surgenet.one with your full name, cohort name, and reason. Our learner coordinators acknowledge within 5 business days and outline timelines.
6. Processing time and method
Approved refunds are initiated within 14 business days using the original payment path where technically possible; otherwise we coordinate an agreed alternative.
7. Exceptions and disputes
Force majeure, cohort cancellations initiated by us, or documented medical emergencies may qualify for transfers to future cohorts instead of cash refunds when mutually agreed. Unresolved disputes may follow the dispute path in our General Terms while respecting Korean consumer rights.
